38 children from Silver and Gold Classes went on our school journey to Sayers Croft. We had an amazing time and enjoyed so many different activities. Caving, bouldering and the ropes courses were particular highlights.
There were some beautiful creations in the natural art and earth walk sessions. We also discovered some expert fishers in our pond dipping activity and nature detectives spotted an adder on our nature walk! This was a first for our Sayers Croft guide, Jared, who has been leading these sessions for the last 5 years!
The movie night was a big hit – Madagascar, always a firm favourite – as well as roasting marshmallows on the campfire, visiting the tuck shop and following a reflector trail on the night hike. Everyone embraced all activities and definitely showed the Morden value of Challenge.
There were big sleepy smiles on everyone’s faces as we arrived back to school on Friday, the sign of a good week. Well done to all of the Glover Croft Crew 2024
